Mindful of the difficulties involved in carrying out the procedures and organising the setting up of an activity as demanding as the oil and gas activity in Angola, Expert Legal Assistance provides specific local support services to those teams assigned to making the early contacts with Angolan territory with a view to preparing the setting up before starting up activity, to wit market research in the context of rental for the transitory or permanent employee accommodation, setting up offices, vehicle hire with driver services, meet and greet services and work visa application and renewal services for the oil sector.

• Legal advice and consulting in the context of the contractual formalisation and licensing of Oil and Gas prospecting activity;
• Legal consulting for the incorporation of trading enterprises into their various legal forms, mandatory registration process with the Oil Ministry, obtaining commercial activity license from the Trade Ministry, importer/exporter registration process.
• Legal advice and consulting in the context of negotiations and the formalisation of agreements and contracts with the national Angolan concessionaire – Sonangol or with members of the contractor and operator group (JOA; CPP, Service Agreement)
• Advice and support to the negotiation and formalization of goods and services’ supply contracts;

We provide a permanent legal information service which sets out to analyse any relevant legislation published in the Diário da República (Legal Gazette).

This includes sending legislation translated into English and its legal analysis whenever relevant legislation is published.

By providing the PLI service it is intended to keep the customer up-to-date. The purpose of the present service is connected with the legislation applicable to the sector and to areas connected with the business activity undertaken.
